Ring, ring. Hello?

“Hi, June. I woke up doubled over in pain; I’m bleeding, and it’s not my time of the month,” said the voice on the other end, alerting me that she was on her way to the doctor.

The culprit?  Fibroids, confirmed by an ultrasound.  The doctor prescribed medicine to help them shrink, and   I was relieved to learn that fibroids are common and treatable.

Even though I have never had fibroids myself, I was curious if there might be some foods out there that could shrink them naturally.   You see, lately I’ve rediscovered how the right foods or herbs can naturally cure a wide variety of ailments–even some diseases!

Nature Cures for Fibroids

Sure enough, turns out there are lots of foods that help shrink and cure fibroids.  Below are links to several great articles I found listing teas you can drink (for example, Green Tea, Dandelion Tea, Turmeric tea).  Or specific foods you can eat (like flaxseed, broccoli, cabbage, tomatos and apples).  There are even supplements that help (like Milk Thistle) that all help with the issue of fibroids.

I figure, “What is the worst thing that can happen from eating a piece of fruit or drinking a cup of tea hurt?”

A Perfect Creator

Plus, it just makes perfect sense (to me anyway) that what we need to heal ourselves is often available right in nature, by our Creator’s design.  What a mighty, thoughtful, loving Creator God is!

If you know of anyone having issues with fibroids, please share this post!  My hope is this info might help someone learn of diet changes that can help to either accompany or replace traditional medicines.

If you try any of these, please feel free to comment on the outcome!

Articles Listing Natural Remedies

Here are some articles I rounded up that also offer natural home remedies for fibroids.  If it is just food or a spice, in most cases it is harmless, but be sure to check with your doctor for anything outside of that!  Be sure to drink plenty of water, get plenty of sleep and exercise. I know that is easier to say than do, but it’s important to start with the health basis sometimes. Consider juicing also.
